Weekly Events
We get together every Thursday night at The Courtyard, Filton Centre. Los Balcones for an evening of entertainment, fun a laughter and in my case murder a few songs with DJ Jay and his karaoke.
Monthly Events
We get together at El Mundos, in Benimar for an afternoon being entertained by the fabulous Spanish Duo Bella Luna.

FABULOUS SHOW THIS FRIDAY
The Variety Show Group and Marina Tappers support PCN First Summer Show takes place this Friday, 3rd June at Casa Ventura in San Luis and promises to be a great night of fantastic entertainment. Music and songs from 1960's, country ballads and also some 'sing alongs' for the audience. Plus the wonderful Marina Tappers! Show starts at 20:30 and tickets are priced at just €4. Food will be available on the night.

Gym / Classes
Does anyone know of a gym locally other than Howards Gym in Quesada? Also looking for classes (possibly Pilates or other)?
Indian Restaurants
Can anyone recommend a GOOD Indian restaurant - Ive tried the one in Benimar and found the food very bland. Ive also tried one in Rojales which wasnt great. I believe theres a new one opened in Doña Pepa? There used to be a good one in El Raso but this has closed down....Dont really like Spice Hut as there are always cats hanging around there which puts me off !
We love Agra Indian restaurant in Guardamar on Avenida Cervantes which is on the main road behind the promenade. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly.
There is a new one in Doña Pepa and it is very nice - they do an evening menu which is around €13. The guy who runs this used to work at the one in Los Montesinos (Punjabi Palace?). Punjabi Palace is also very nice and their buffet is well worth the money but I think is now only available on a weekend.
Scooter hire
Can anyone tell me if there is somewhere locally that hires out scooters please

I have a scooter for sale at a really good price if you are interested! If you have a holiday home you could keep it in garage and make use of it every time you come instead of renting one. Regards
There is a company called Euro Rent - they are based in Javea but do a service from Alicante airport. There no is 966 472 383.
There used to be a company called Richies in Benijofar that rented out scooters / mopeds - they were originally on the high street but not sure that they are there any more. Might be worth googling them to see if they still exist?

Summer School
I understand that there is sometimes a summer school held at the school in Rojales - does anybody know anything about this? Is there one in Benijofar school also and if not, can children who dont go to the school in Rojales still attend the summer school or is it just for children that attend the school?

Hi Susan, Can you post details of your summer club - my children are 13 and 11 and I want them to be with children of similar ages - would it just be english kids or spanish too?

As the Events Section Calendar is now getting quite full, it is not always possible for every event to actually be seen on the Calendar itself. BUT, if you click into the date over top of the Box everyone's Event that has been posted can be seen !!

We are now getting quite a few of the local artists put their Events up ie Michael Star, Bella Luna, Peter Jay, Maria O'Hara, Kye James, Debbie Slater etc.
You can, if you wish, put youtube videos on to the forum !
If any Artist is appearing locally you can advertise where you are performing completely FREE in the **Events** Section.
GREAT AREA
I have just come back from a few weeks in the Torrevieja area and had the chance to visit La Zenia for the first time when I went to a business Exhibition that was on last week. I must say it looks very nice, and well worth a trip back. Its great to see one of these websites open up to cover this place I will keep an eye on events
